About Dan Austen, PA-C
Dan’s interest in healthcare stems from a life of being on both the giving and receiving ends of medicine. He spent almost 2 years in Iraq as a medic and x-ray tech and has a child who requires routine medical, surgical, and therapeutic care. Dan is also fascinated by how things work, particularly the human body and mind. This curiosity and motivation led Dan into the military, to a career of more than a decade as an x-ray tech, and eventually back to school to become a Physician Assistant. Dan was educated at the University of Washington and has been in the Army National Guard as a medic and x-ray tech since 1999. His greatest passions are faith, family, medicine, fitness, and the outdoors. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and spent almost all of his childhood years here in Vancouver. His goal as a healthcare provider is to promote both healing and sustained good health.
